As the various levels of COVID-19 lockdowns have brought many of us into clinical inactivity, it may be a good time to finish some of the clinical and research publications that have been set aside over the years. The American Surgeon can always use good content from the members of the Southern California Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. They are looking for high-quality clinical studies of interest to surgeons in active practice.

Membership Renewal

For current Chapter members, the Membership year is January to December each year. Renewal invoices have been mailed, but you have the option of renewing your membership online! You will need your membership login information - your username is your Chapter ID number on your renewal invoice. Contact the Chapter office if you need assistance.

SCCACS Annual Meeting

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the 2023 annual meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, which was held January 20-22, 2023, a great success! From speakers, to attendees, to exhibitors, a wonderful and educational time was had by all.

While this year's meeting has past, it is never to early to make plans for next year. So, save the date for the 2024 meeting; which will again be held at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, January 19-21, 2024.
