The Annual Women in Surgery session will be a breakfast workshop that will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 7:00 am, during the Annual SCCACS Scientific Meeting at the The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara.

Dr. Wu is an Assistant Professor of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Loma Linda University Health. She serves as Associate Program Director for Simulation for the General Surgery Residency, Medical Director for Surgery at SAC Health System, and Vice Chair of Diversity in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Wu is active nationally through leadership roles with SAGES, the Association of Surgical Education, and the American Board of Surgery. Her academic interests focus on surgical education, technical skills development, mentorship, equity, and health disparities.
