Thank you for your patience as we sort through the myriad of details associated with not being able to hold the meeting in January in Santa Barbara.

In a commitment to fulfill the Chapter's obligation to all of the authors who worked so hard preparing to present their work, but were unable to because of the Montecito mudslides, the Chapter's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the meeting will now take place May 11-12, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.  The length of the meeting program will be 2 days - starting at 8:00 am on Friday and ending by 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 12th. All of the authors previously invited to make a presentation have been invited to present their work at this new meeting date and location. MOC self assessment credit - question writing

For the 2018 SCCACS meeting, surgeons will be able to take an online quiz to qualify for self-assessment credits for ALL sessions. A passing grade of 75% must be achieved to earn the credits. Abstract submissions MUST include 2 questions per submission - 1 of which needs to be a clinical case situation.

For ALL abstracts submitted for the 2018 Meeting, 2 questions/answers for MOC/Self Assessmet Credit must also be submitted at the time of abstract submission. NOTE: Of the 2 questions you submit, 1 MUST be a clinical case situation. Under NO circumstances can you include a True/False question and you should avoid using an answer choice of "all of the above" or "none of the above".

The American College of Surgeons has put together quiz writing guidelines that the questions should adhere to - please be sure to review this material prior to submitting your abstract and MOC questions.
